During this spirited three or six hour workshop, participants will learn various methods for transforming the immobility evoked by a blank page into high-velocity creative flow.

We practice fun and surprising techniques to break us out of old habits, deepen and widen our writing, generate new uses for tired words, and transform the blah to the brilliant.

Who should take this workshop

No experience necessary. The workshops are suitable for adults who do not currently write, as well as those who have been putting their thoughts on the page for some time. It can also benefit writers interested in memoir and personal essays or just for personal growth and enjoyment. Exercises are fashioned to encourage deep thought, reflection and creativity. Beginning and seasoned writers will benefit from the practice, techniques and interaction with others.
